1 FTE with call (minimum weeknight call once per week; minimum weekend call once per month)
7a-5p or 7a-7p (determined by when rooms come down)
Must have neuraxial and regional block experience

Case Types: OB, Endo, General, Vascular (Light), Thoracic, Urology, GYN, Ortho, Occasional Healthy Peds, NO CARDIAC, NO TRAUMA, NO NEURO
Call Requirements:
24 Hr Call (Weekend) covers OB, GI, and the OR the call is in-house and you cannot leave the hospital at anytime during the shift part of the responsibilities is to do follow-ups on previous day’s surgical patients OB is done by yourself, there is an anesthesia cart for epidurals there are 2 OB C-section rooms; must be checked by you OB nurse will contact you for epidurals and C-sections weekend C-sections are STAT; typically not scheduled there is a separate contact for nursing supervisor for the main OR if there is an OR or GI case, the call anesthetist must be called in by you if there is more than one case, the cases have to be done 1 at a time there is an office there for you that has a sleep number bed, computer with internet access and access to EPIC
Weeknight Call (3pm-7am) OR anesthesiologist sent home when down to 4 total anesthetizing locationsAnesthesiologist covering OB is sent home when down to 2 total anesthetizing locations once done, remain in-house to cover OB if OR or GI case posted, the call anesthetist must be called in by you
CONTRACT TERM:

I think they will take a part-time locum for this. During the week, you could do call on day 1, continue to work on day 2 and be the first MD to be relieved since you are post-call (usually by 3pm), and then take call again on day 3.
Or you could structure a weekly schedule that allows you to take call only once a week and a weekend call once a month.
